This is not meant to be substitute for a glaucoma textbook. As the name suggests, it is a book on pearls and words of wisdom gathered over a span of many years. This book is primarily meant for the ophthalmologist in training and it is expected that they do have some background knowledge of glaucoma before they read this book.
