This is the Urdu translation of the personal diary kept by William Edwards during the days of the Indian rebellion of 1857. He escaped the rebels, but during his flight, he kept a diary so that in case he met an accident his family could learn about his last days. Deputy Nazeer Ahmed translated this work into Urdu. It is one of his lesser-known translated works which has become of increased significance today.
